Our Mission

To provide effective and high-quality health services for members of Scouts Canada through the development of the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of youth members who deliver first aid services.

Program Overview

For simplicity, the term “MedVents” is usually used to describe both the Venturer and Rover sections since both sections work closely together and use a similar curriculum.

The 24th MedVents specialize in providing volunteer first aid services at a variety of Scouting and community events in BC and Scouting Jamborees across Canada. See information about having us support your event.

We also enjoy coming out to your Beaver, Cub, and Scout meetings to help with first aid badge requirements, as well as running first aid challenges or stations at Scouting events.

And we run First Aid Courses for Scouting and Guiding members (youth & adults). These events are fundraisers for our group. The funds we raise help us to purchase first aid equipment and life-saving training for our members.  See our current course schedule

Meeting schedule

MedVents meet every other Thursday from 19:30-21:30 at Blue Mountain Park. Our meetings are 1/3 Venturer/Rover business meeting. and 2/3 medical training.
